NOTTINGHAM

Thursday, March 17

Nottingham’s 17th St Patrick’s Day festival and procession will this year twin with Co. Kilkenny and feature the Irish Prison Service Pipe Band.

Among those taking part in the parade are Denis Rackard Coady, Kilkenny hurling’s kit man, Richard Hayden, the Festival Chief Marshall and the Lord Mayor of Nottingham Cllr Jackie Harris. While the main celebration takes place on St. Patrick’s Day itself there will be events all week.

Route: The parade starts at the Forest Recreation Ground and makes its way into the city centre for more celebrations.
