Ginger men bare all for Red Hot redhead 2019 calendars

GINGER MEN across the world have stripped off this Christmas for a unique celebration of all things redhead.

The Red Hot calendar project is a unique collaboration between photographer Thomas Knights and British designer Elliott James Frieze.

Knights and Frieze came up with the idea for a nude all redhead male calendar as a means of celebrating ginger-ness and male sexuality.

They noticed that while red-haired women have often been viewed in a positive light thanks to actresses like Christina Hendricks, it's a different story for ginger blokes.

For each of the past five years, the Red Hot project has recruited some of the most attractive red-haired men on the planet to pose for a provocative calendar with a difference.

Profits from the sale of the calendar go to charity, meaning this is more than just your standard end-of-year fan calendar money grab.

Earlier this year, Red Hot put out a casting call for ginger men willing to strip off in the name of charity.

The redheads duly responded, with Red Hot upping the ante for their 2019 releases.

Last year, the Red Hot Calendar had sold out worldwide by early December.

This time around Red Hot is upping the ante with three new ginger-themed all-male nude calendars.

Red Hot C**ks and Red Hot Butts will be joined by Red Hot American Boys, a celebration of ginger hair stateside.

They are raising money for an important cause too, with funds generated from the 2019 calendars going to Athlete Ally.

It's a charity that believes that everyone should have equal access, opportunity, and experience in sports - regardless of your sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

Their mission is to end homophobia and transphobia in sport and to activate the athletic community to exercise their leadership to champion LGBTQ equality.

Many of the models involved were discovered on social media, while a few more volunteered their services.

The result is a calendar that is available to purchase from now for the not inconsiderable price of $44.99 (€29.00).

But with the money going towards charity and spreading a positive message about ginger men everywhere, it could be money well spent.
