VIDEOS on social media have captured chaotic scenes that appear to show fans fighting after Conor McGregor lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The main event at UFC 229 in Las Vegas was dogged by controversy after Khabib traded punches with a member of McGregor’s entourage.
Meanwhile three of Khabib’s party entered the Octagon after the fight and clashed with the Irishman.
However the tension spilled outside the main hall at the T-Mobile Arena with fans appearing to clash on the main concourse level.

One video shows a young man with a Tricolour and his friend arguing with two men, who suddenly start throwing punches.
After the skirmish, the men back away as the crowd begins chanting “Olé, Olé, Olé”.
In a second video shot in the same section of the arena, a young man who appears to be with the McGregor fans is floored by a punch.

Following the bad tempered fight between McGregor and Khabib, the Russian apologised for his actions, but claimed the Irishman had mocked his family and religion.
The Nevada Athletic Commission have withheld Khabib's purse and launched an investigation.
McGregor meanwhile, who submitted in the fourth round, has already said he expects a rematch.
