Music mogul Vince Power will stage a 15-day music festival extravaganza when the Olympics kick off in Britain this summer.
Plans for the London Irish Village 2012 have finally been confirmed and revealed exclusively to The Irish Post on Monday.
All the action kicks off on July 27 at Under the Bridge, an £8million venue built under Chelsea's Stamford Bridge Stadium.
The stat-of-the-art site, launched in March 2011, has already welcomed the likes of Jamie Cullum and the Kaiser Chiefs to its underground stage.
It will become a hotspot for the best of Irish talent for 15 summer nights, while celebrating the spirit of the Olympics and the Irish contribution to the Games.
The London Irish Village 2012 will run from July 27-August 12.
See next week's Irish Post, out Wednesday, May 23, for more details.
