Niall Horan has just dropped his first single in over a year and it's already storming the charts

A LOT of people in Ireland-- and across the world-- are absolutely buzzing right now.

Former One Direction Star, current solo artist and all-round Sound Lad Niall Horan has just dropped his newest single, and we here at The Irish Post can confirm it's a total banger.

The Mullingar man announced the release of new single Nice To Meet Ya on social media, and just six hours after being released the video has already racked up half a million views on Youtube.

Niall has already found huge success in Ireland with his solo songs Slow Hands and Too Much To Ask, but his newest track is a decided departure from those slower love ballads-- Nice To Meet Ya is a rollicking, confident anthem, and the video shows him owning the streets of London with ease.

Unbearably catchy from the first listen, this song looks set to take the airwaves by storm, and is already flying up the ranks of the iTunes charts.

Fans have been waiting for over a year for the Irishman to release new music, and it seems like the wait was absolutely worth it as they took Twitter by storm to rave about the newest track.
