Chris O'Dowd and Sarah Greene honoured by Theatre World awards

CHRIS O’Dowd and actress Sarah Greene last night both won prestigious Theatre World awards in the US.

Moone Boy star O’Dowd and Cork native Greene are honoured for Outstanding Broadway or Off-Broadway Debut Performances for their roles in Of Mice and Men and The Cripple of Inishmaan respectively.

Bryan Cranston (All the Way), Rebecca Hall for (Machinal) and Sophie Okonedo for (A Raisin in the Sun), were the other actors honoured.

The awards will be presented on June 2 at the Circle in the Square Theatre in New York.

O'Dowd and Greene have also been nominated for this year's Tony Awards, which take place on June 8 at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
