Irish primary school teacher's red chair geography lesson leaves Graham Norton in stitches

A PRIMARY school teacher from Ireland left Graham's Norton and his guests in stitches with this amusing geography lesson story in the legendary red chair.

Norton, joined on the night by Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn, comedian Amy Schumer, Star Wars actor John Boyega and actor Orlando Bloom, couldn't keep the smile of his face as Orla - a Year One teacher - recalled an amusing moment from her classroom career in Britain.

Her story starts with how a few years back she decided to teach her class, made up of five and six year olds, about the countries of the world.

Getting a globe out, one child pointed to Papua New Guinea to which Orla added: “Does anyone know why Papua New Guinea is really famous?"
