Jarlath Regan among acts for London Irish Comedy Festival's Edinburgh preview

THE London Irish Comedy Festival is to host a season of Edinburgh Fringe Festival preview gigs, beginning on April 5.

The schedule of shows will run from April 5 to June 14 at Camden’s London Irish Centre, in partnership with the Irish Post.

Damian Clarke & John Lynn will kick of proceedings on April 5 followed by Conor Drum & Andrew Ryan (April 12);   Foil Arms and Hog & Danny O’Brien (May 3); Grainne Maguire & Jarlath Regan (may 10) and Eleanor Tiernan & Chris Kent (June 14). Yasmine Akram will MC all shows from April 12 to June 14

The Irish Post has been the festival’s media partner since its inception and is proud to be associated with it for its third year running.

Maria Schweppe, co-founder and director of the London Irish Comedy Festival, said: “Our Edinburgh Fringe previews will feature a double bill of work-in-progress shows before they hit the road north for the biggest arts Festival on the planet.
