Ambassador Dan Mulhall opens new AIB (GB) banking premises in Leeds

IRISH Ambassador to Britain Dan Mulhall was on hand in Leeds recently to officially open new premises for Allied Irish Bank (GB) in City Square.

The occasion was marked by an Irish breakfast at Aspire, which was attended by the Irish Government’s Declan Morrin, Head of Economic Trade.

Members of the community and banking sector, including AIB's Senior Banking Manager for British Irish Trade Michael Collins, also joined in the occasion.

Mr Mulhall said he had enjoyed a visit to the Yorkshire city and wished the bank every success.

He spoke about how Britain played a big part of Ireland’s economy, adding that it was in Ireland’s best interest to remain in the EU.
