Moone Boy returns for third series with a string of famous Irish guest stars  

Writer and comedian Sharon Horgan, TV institution Terry Wogan, actor and comedian John Sessions and The Commitments actress Bronagh Gallagher will all make special appearances in the third series of Moone Boy.

Co-written and directed by Chris O’Dowd, Moone Boy recently won Best Sitcom at the British Comedy Awards.

Season Three sees the Moone family struggle to fit into the family home when Fidelma, Dessie and baby Rose move in, while Dessie launches a new business venture.

Sir Terry Wogan will play the host of a home video show in an episode that sees Martin and Padraic attempt to film a hilarious clip in a bid to be featured on TV.

Sharon Horgan plays Sharon Morgan, a high powered, yoga-loving entrepreneur and Liam's ex- girlfriend.

Irish actress and singer Bronagh Gallagher will star as Pat O'Dwyer, mother to Martin Moone's best friend Padraic.

Comedian Johnny Vegas returns as Crunchie Danger Haystacks, the imaginary friend of Martin's best friend Padraic and Simon Delaney is as Gerry.
