Ryanair transatlantic flights "four or five years away"

RYANAIR chief executive Michael O'Leary has said that any plans for the airline to launch a transatlantic service are still “four or five years away”.

Speaking in Dublin over the weekend, O'Leary said that the airline had held talks with airports in the US about starting such a service but that the plan is still speculative at this stage.

He added that any transatlantic service would depend on the airline acquiring the planes at the right price.
