Irish teen Caden McLoughlin signs professional contract with Villareal

REMEMBER THE name.

Irish youth-team international Caden McLoughlin has signed a professional contract with Villareal, at just 16 years of age.

McLoughlin, whose mother comes from Finglas in Dublin, has scored 5 goals for Ireland's U15s in nine appearances, and also impressed at Malaga before signing for Villareal.

And because of his time in Spain, you may be worrying about him doing a Declan Rice, but he sounds committed.

He said: "Ireland is my country. I don't think of any other country. I just think Ireland. I represent that country and I'm so proud of doing that."

His favourite players are Neymar and Drogba, and this is fairly apparent if you've seen any clips of him playing.

He believes he can play anywhere across the front line - striker, left wing or right wing, which are three positions that we could surely do with the added firepower in.

The young lad is a brilliant talker too. Check out this interview he did with the FAI to further familiarise yourself with him and his work.

Villareal are not a bad club to be with at the moment either. They have a Europa League semi-final against Arsenal to look forward to, and are currently sat in 7th place in La Liga.

Good luck Caden!
