George Ezra announces three major outdoor gigs across Ireland

GEORGE EZRA has announced three massive shows across Ireland next year.

The Budapest musician will kick things off with a performance at Irish Independent Park in Cork on June 20th, 2019.

He'll follow that up with another large-scale gig at Malahide Castle in Dublin on June 21st before rounding things off with a performance at Ormeau Park in Belfast on June 22nd.

The shows mark Ezra's biggest Irish shows to date and cover three of Ireland's biggest outdoor venues.

Ezra took to Twitter to announce the gigs.

He tweeted: "IRELAND - Polish off your dancing shoes, because today I'm finally announcing my biggest Irish shows to date!

"Thank you for your unwavering support this year."

Tickets for the gigs go on general sale this Wednesday, October 10th from 9am.

The news comes ahead of the Blame It On Me singer's 2018 European tour.

Ezra is touring in support of his number 1 album Staying at Tamara's, which garnered widespread critical acclaim upon release.

A popular figure on the Emerald Isle, Ezra has scored three Top 10 hits in Ireland and recently hit the top of the singles charts with the song Shotgun.

News of Ezra's tour plans come after X Factor star Olly Murs revealed his own plans to perform in Ireland next year.

Murs will perform at Dublin's 3 Arena on May 13th and will also sing at Belfast's SSE Arena on May 14th.

Tickets for Murs' tour are due to go on sale next Friday, October 12th from 9am.
