CANNABIS with an estimated street value of €7m has been found at a property in Kildare.
The drugs were discovered by Gardaí after a series of searches were conducted across the county yesterday (April 1).
“As part of ongoing investigations under Operation Tara, Gardaí from the Kildare/Carlow Drugs Units, supported by the Kildare/Carlow Crime Functional Area and Eastern Regional Units, conducted a series of planned searches in County Kildare,” a Garda spokesperson confirmed.

Four people were arrested at the scene.
The three men, two aged in their 30s and one in his 40s, and a woman, who is aged in her 20s, are all being held at Garda stations in the Eastern Region.
The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
An investigation is now undeway and an incident room has been established at Carlow Garda Station.
