Irish singing sensation Daniel O'Donnell flew in from Ireland to help launch a charity scheme in the Midlands.
Hundreds of fans turned up to see the Donegal singer who was in Birmingham recently to launch the Irish In Birmingham - Giving Scheme.
Daniel, who has been an ambassador for the charity since its merger and re-brand in November, took time out from his busy performing schedule to make this personal appearance and encourage fans to sign up to the scheme.
He began his whistle stop visit at The Paragon Hotel, later he moved onto St Anne for Mass and then called into Irish In Birmingham HQ before heading to the city’s Irish Centre.
“I know from my many visits to Birmingham that there is a thriving Irish community here,” he said.
“However I recognise too that a significant number of Irish people are still in desperate need of help and support. I am really impressed with the dedication of the staff and volunteers who work tirelessly on behalf of others.
