A tourist has passed away after suffering serious injuries in a fall at the Giants Causeway earlier this week.
The Giants Causeway site is located in Bushmills, Northern Ireland.
The incident is believed to have happened within the visitors centre at the site on Tuesday, but the exact details of what happened are not yet known.
The ambulance arrived at the scene on Tuesday morning to find the man had sustained serious head injuries.
The deceased is reported to be a man in his 70’s from the United States who was on holidays with his wife.
He passed away early this morning at Causeway Hospital.
