A WOMAN in her 40s has died in a house fire in Clifden, Co. Galway.
Emergency services responded to reports of the fire in Tullyvoheen at around 7pm on Friday.
After the fire was brought under control the woman’s remains were found inside.
The scene is being preserved for examination however gardaí do not currently suspect foul play.
