Woman who is heir to long lost brother's fortune found in Ireland

MARIE Hilton, the woman believed to be the sole heir to her long lost brother's estate, has been found in Ireland.

An extensive search was launched for Ms Hilton by Finders International, an organisation that specialises in finding the rightful owners of unclaimed estates.

The Irish Post reported yesterday that Marie was the only remaining member of her family eligible to claim her brother Michael's estate.

Michael P O'Hanlon passed away in Southampton in 2008 - and a younger sister passed away the following year. Marie, the oldest sibling, is the last of the Hilton children remaining.

Marie, who was born in 1943 to Phyllis Veronica Hilton, who later went on to have Michael in 1945 and Phyllis in 1949.

The Hiltons were sent to live in foster homes and lost touch with each other at a very young age.

Eventually, Marie tracked down her younger sister but they did not stay in touch.

Now, with Phyllis and their brother Michael both dead, Marie is believed to be the only person left who is eligible to claim Michael's estate.

With the surprise news of inheriting an undisclosed sum from her long lost brother, Marie has decided to stay away from the spotlight.

"We have found Marie Hilton and are checking to see if she is entitled," Padraic Grennan from Finders International told The Irish Post.

"She is very private and doesn’t want any more media coverage."
