FORMER Manchester United boss David Moyes has not ruled out the prospect of succeeding Ronny Deila at Celtic at the end of the season.
Moyes – who previously managed Everton – remained coy about a potential move during his role as a Sky Sports pundit on Wednesday night's Merseyside derby, alongside Jamie Carragher.
This week Celtic confirmed Deila will leave at the end of the season, with speculation mounting in recent days that the currently unattached Moyes could be in line for the role.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Moyes revealed his admiration for Celtic as a football club and said he would consider his options during the summer.
"Celtic's a brilliant football club, a great football club, with unbelievable support and fan base. I'm going to wait until summer time and make a decision in the summer time.
"There's lots of clubs that will interest me and Celtic are a great club."
Moyes is currently the bookies' favourite to take on the job, with Neil Lennon and Roy Keane following close behind.
Deila’s imminent departure from Celtic was confirmed following the club’s penalty shoot-out defeat to rivals Rangers in Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final.
