Footage has emerged of Irish cyclist Matt Brammeier’s horrific crash on stage six of the Tour of Utah.
The five-time Irish National champion collided with one of the team service cars as he approached a hairpin bend at an alarming speed.
The 30-year-old, who was born in Liverpool but declared for Ireland in 2009, suffered injuries to his pelvis, ribs and lung but is in good spirits as he recovers in hospital.
