“Our facilities and manufacturing capabilities are unrivalled in the UK interiors market, leaving us positioned to secure further growth in the next 3-5 years and exceed turnover of £40 million comfortably.

“My father, John Bosco O’Hagan started the business in 1988, and our name was quickly established through strategic partnering with Murphy’s Irish Brewery, Heineken and GlaxoSmithKline – delivering projects around the world.

“In more recent times, our focus has been on London where we partner with Key Tier 1 companies; Overbury, ISG, Mace Group, Sir Robert McAlpine and Berkeley Group, delivering projects for big name brands like Rolls Royce, Estee Lauder, Warner Brothers, leading law firms and many of the FTSE100 listed companies.”

The Irish-owned family company pride themselves on two things – quality, and putting people first.

Known for their straight-talking and down-to-earth approach, SJG credit their employees and the priority they give to client care as the main reason for their current set of results.

Across the business, they continue to develop this winning culture by extensive learning and development opportunities and an established leadership programme which extends across the business operation, from manufacturing, to logistics and site installation teams.

Specialist Joinery Group employ over 220 people and are currently seeking to recruit for key positions within their London-based Site Management Teams.

The group are targeting experienced talent, ideally with SMSTS or SSSTS training and experience of bespoke architectural joinery installation.

Looking to the future, the group have secured several large multi floor commercial bespoke joinery fit outs in the Liverpool Street area and have a strong pipeline of work that extends into 2021. With this volume of work and good financial standing, the business is well on course for another successful year.
