A BRITISH lawyer attempted to translate Irish slang for comedy duo The Rubberbandits' appearance on an ITV game show and the result was pretty amusing.
The pair, known individually as Blindboy Boatclub and Mr Chrome, wrote and narrate the ITV2 game show Almost Impossible.
They are well-known for their rather lewd language, so the British lawyer behind the show was required to read over their favourite phrases ahead of the show.
The Rubberbandits presented the lawyer with a variety of slang terms from "arse biscuit" to "shandy dancer".
His task was to then research the terms and define them, which the Rubberbandits then tweeted for our amusement.
