Irish singer Mary Byrne debuts a new look following a serious makeover

The former X Factor singer looks like a different person nowadays.

Mary Byrne, former Tesco worker and X Factor finalist has shared the results of a recent makeover she's undergone.

The 58-year-old mother auditioned back in 2010 for the British singing competition and surprised more than a few people when she reached the stage of the live shows.

Under the guidance of Louis Walsh, Mary's talent was honed and nurtured and her natural talent for singing ballads was clear for the world to see.

The singer was known for her black hair with a fringe, black clothes and minimal makeup while performing which really focused people on her singing as opposed to the 'glitz and glam' of certain performers who try to hide behind flashy appearances to hide their lack of talent. But not our Mary.

The Dublin native went on to perform at multiple gigs and concerts since her appearance on The X Factor and her most recent singing job is due to be in Dublin's Tivoli Theatre.

The singer is due to take on the role of the Good Queen in this year's edition of Sleeping Beauty in aid of the Cheerios Pantomime.

Mary shared a picture of her new look on Facebook, revealing herself to be a beautiful blonde, which brings out those Irish green eyes perfectly.

She shared the details of her makeover in a Facebook post, detailing the who's who behind her wonderful new look. What do you make of it?
