FOR a small island, Ireland has an incredibly vast range of accents – and now the people have spoken and chosen their favourite Irish accent of all.
Northern accents seem to be the favourite of many people; while those from the Midlands will be disappointed to hear their accents did not generate much excitement.
Irish website TheSlicedPan.com had an astonishing 214,000 responses to their summer survey into the best and worst Irish accent.
It certainly makes for some interesting reading...
