Stars of hilarious gatecrash in BBC interview video wish the world a Merry Christmas

ONE of the funniest videos of 2017 has to be named as Professor Kelly and his family accidentally gatecrashing an interview with the BBC.

The professor of political science at Pusan National University in South Korea, was speaking to BBC World News about the impeachment of the country’s President Park Geun-hye.

Speaking to the BBC about strained relations in North Korea, Professor Kelly's daughter struts in, unaware of the solemn interview her father is conducting.

Kelly tries to keep his daughter out of shot before her little brother toddles in, followed by the children's mother and Kelly's wife running into shot frantically, trying to collect the kids and shut the door all at once.

The video spurred hundreds of memes, gifs among other creative images to celebrate the hilarious interview.

Going on from March 2017 from when the interview happened, Professor Kelly has decided to thank people for their support of his family with a gorgeous family photo.

Taking to Twitter, professor Robert Kelly said "Merry Christmas. To all the people who follow me because of the video or my children, thank you. We are flattered by your kindness."
