Donald Trump says he has 'absolutely shocking' evidence of voter fraud as he continues to claim election victory

DONALD TRUMP claims he has an "absolutely shocking" amount of evidence to prove the existence of voter fraud in the presidential election.

Despite Joe Biden being all but confirmed as President-elect on Saturday, Mr Trump has refused to let up with his accusations of foul-play.

Taking to Twitter, the President said he'd found evidence of a "cesspool of fake votes," and reiterated his pledge to take the issue to the Supreme Court of the United States.

On Monday evening, he tweeted: "Nevada is turning out to be a cesspool of Fake Votes. @mschlapp & @AdamLaxalt are finding things that, when released, will be absolutely shocking!"

Trump claims that political activist Matt Schlapp and Republican politician Adam Laxalt have uncovered evidence of fraud.

Just as they've done with all of Trump's claims of election-rigging, Twitter slapped the tweet with a warning label, telling users: "This claim about election fraud is disputed."

It's estimated that as many as 100 million votes may have been cast by mail in this year's election, mainly due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 crisis.

In the run-up to the election, Trump warned against the use of mail-in ballots, consistently claiming that they were easy to forge or manipulate.

While supporters of his say there's clear evidence that this is the case, Trump's opponents argue that he was simply attempting to sabotage the legitimacy of mail-ballots knowing full-well that the bulk of them would be cast by Democrat voters.
