Liam Neeson returns in new Men In Black: International trailer

LIAM NEESON has returned in the new trailer for Men In Black: International.

The action comedy adventure, starring Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth, is a follow-up to the hit Will Smith sci-fi trilogy of the same name.

A bigger, longer look at the upcoming sequel from director F. Gary Gray, the film sees Thompson’s newly-recruited Agent M team up with Hemworth’s Agent H, a top agent in MIB's UK branch, to tackle a deadly new foe.

Neeson co-stars as High T, Hemworth’s boss in the UK branch of MIB, along with Emma Thompson as Agent O in a globetrotting new addition to the franchise.

Details surrounding the plot for Men In Black International remain scarce, with the trailer hinting at a potential threat from within – Neeson’s High T perhaps?

The only official synopsis reads:

“The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organisation.”

The film will mark Neeson’s first film back in the Hollywood big time since he made controversial comments during the promotional tour for Cold Pursuit.

Speaking in an interview with The Independent back in February, Neeson revealed how he once sought revenge for the rape of a close friend by walking the streets armed with a weapon searching for a “black b*****d” to kill.

Despite the furore that greeted his comments, Neeson refused to back down telling Good Morning America: "I'm not racist - this was nearly 40 years ago."
