A new dating show wants to help people in rural Ireland find love- and they're looking for contestants

IF YOU'RE from one of Ireland's countless rural areas, you'll understand how isolating it can feel.

... especially if you find yourself having to stretch your Tinder location range up to 20km to find someone you didn't spend 12 years in school with.

But what was once a negative aspect of living in the most picturesque, quiet and safe parts of Ireland is about to become an advantage thanks to a new TV show hoping to turn it around for rural romantics.

A brand new dating series from the creators of Gogglebox Ireland, Ireland's Got Talent and Ireland's Fittest Family are looking to match people from rural Ireland with city-dwellers who want a taste of country life.

The show says they want to 'help the hard-working men and women of the agriculture industry and those that are feeling like they are not part of a singles social scene find true love'-- so if you know any foxy farmers who deserve someone to share their road frontage with, you might encourage them to apply!

The details of the show are being kept tightly under wraps at the moment-- we don't even know the name yet-- but the most important part is that anyone from rural Ireland is encouraged to reply, no matter your age or orientation.

If you're interested in finding out more or taking part in the brand new show, you can contact creators Kite Entertainment by emailing [email protected] or calling (00353) 087 230 1210.

Sure what have you got to lose?
