The Night King is coming to Dublin and Game of Thrones fans want answers

GAME OF Thrones fans look set to descend on Dublin for the arrival of a figure once feared by all among Westeros and beyond: The Night King.

HBO’s medieval fantasy epic may have ended on a slightly disappointing note, but Irish fans will get a chance to quiz one of the men at the centre of arguably the show’s most controversial storyline: Richard Brake.

Brake may not be a household name but GoT fans will be familiar with his work as the stony-blue zombie king who led the Whitewalkers against Jon Snow et al in the show’s final season.

With much of Game of Thrones spent building towards this battle and hinting at an even bigger role for Brake’s Knight King character, it’s fair to say fans were left disappointed by his eventual role in proceedings.

Without revealing any key spoilers, it’s fair to say many were left underwhelmed and seeking answers.

They will now get a chance to quiz Brake on all things GoT at this year’s Dublin Comic Con, which is due to take place in the Irish capital this weekend.

On August 10 and August 11, the city’s Convention Centre will be transformed into a cornucopia of all things fantasy and sci-fi.

An impressive list of stars are due to appear alongside Brake, including Family Guy voice star Patrick Warburton and Buffy The Vampire Slayer favourite Charisma Carpenter.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy star Pom Klementieff will also be in attendance alongside arguably the biggest draw of all, Lou Ferrigno aka TV’S The Incredible Hulk.

Part of a star-studded line-up of genre actors set to sign autographs, pose for pictures and answer questions, the Night King could have a few disgruntled Game of Thrones fans on his hands.

The night is dark and full of terrors.
