THE unsung hero of any wedding day has got to be the best man - and this Irishman's speech will go down in history.
When Achill island natives Alan Gielty and Maeve Clancy came together with their families for their wedding reception, Alan's brother Diarmuid had a particularly unique speech up his sleeve.
Opting for a song instead of the usual straight-laced speech, Diarmuid had the crowd in stitches of laughter.
Complete with a mandolin, an accordion and a harpist, Diarmuid sang the entire speech from beginning to end.
But if the song wasn't enough, Diarmuid finished off mortifying his brother with a flash mob of his favourite song.
