CHRISTY Moore was playing in Carlow last night when he took the opportunity to tell the crowd how much he really hates Irish politicians.
Moore, whose musical style is hinged on his storytelling ability, is currently on tour around Ireland and Britain.
"Politicians?" he sings, "Jaysus don't talk to me about politicians."
"I hate politicians, I can't think straight," he says, "I hate politicians and the state of the state."
"They're putting on the poor mouth, they're putting on the weight, they better not come 'round to my front gate," Moore sings.
"I got a big Alsatian... he's always waiting," he told the crowd.
