Eagle-eyed readers spotted a classified advert in the latest edition of Ireland's Own - submitted by an Australian grandmother looking for an Irish wife for her grandson.
The ad, which is titled 'Sydney Calling', asks for a European/Irish/UK wife who is "moral, loving, kind and wants a large family" for her 25 year old grandson.
The grandmother goes on to say she wants her grandson settled now she's 89 years old.
