Reynor wins award at Sundance Festival for Glassland

IRISH actor Jack Reynor has won the World Cinema Special Jury Prize for acting at the 31st Sundance Film Festival in Utah last night.

The Bray star picked up the award for his role in Gerard Barrett's film Glassland, which follows the story of a young man coping with his mother's alcohol addiction.

The 23-year-olf plays a taxi driver who is forced to take a job that lands him in a world of crime, in an effort to help his mother (Toni Collette).

Transformers star Reynor, is currently filming The Secret Scripture in Ireland, alongside co-stars Rooney Mara, Aidan Turner and Theo James.

He also features in Irish film Sing Street alongside Aiden Gillen.
