Video: Irish martial arts star Jesse-Jane McParland wows on Ellen Degeneres Show

AN IRISH martial arts star has hit the big time after an appearance on The Ellen Show in LA.

Jesse-Jane McParland shot to fame on Britain's Got Talent earlier this year, with her ferocious mixed martial arts performance.

Over 90 million people viewed the clip of her performance online after her appearance on the show - and she has been telling US television presenter Ellen DeGeneres about her passion.

"Mummy said why do you not like ballet and Irish dancing and I said mummy not every girl dreams of being a little princess," she said.

The 10-year-old, from Keady in Co. Antrim, has been busy since she was eliminated in the semi-final stages of Britain's Got Talent.

In the past few weeks, US presidential hopeful Hilary Clinton and former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger both shared a video of Jesse-Jane with their millions of followers on social media.

And after chatting about her passion for martial arts, Jesse-Jane took to the stage with her sword to a standing ovation.
