OUR European cousins are big fans of the way people speak in Ireland.
According to a survey of 1,000 people conducted by the global dating app Happn, only two European accents are sexier than the Irish brogue.
France’s “language of love” claimed second place, with the Italian accent voted Europe’s sexiest with 25 percent of the vote.
Ireland followed in third place with an impressive 19 percent, beating Spain and Sweden.
The English, Scottish and Welsh accents were nowhere to be seen in the poll—with Russian, Portuguese, German, Dutch and Greek completing the top 10.
In a separate survey conducted earlier this year, Happn found that more than half of respondents believed someone’s voice to be deal breaker in a relationship.
