Three Irish men held following burglary in London

THREE Irish men have been remanded in custody after being charged in connection with a burglary last week in North West London.

Joseph Cawley, 23, of Stanbridge Road, Leighton Buzzard; Michael Connors, 41, of St. Marks Close, Stoke-On-Trent, and Patrick Moorehouse, 30, of South Holme Court, Northampton, appeared before Hendon Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

The trio were charged with a number of offences following a burglary on Friday, May 9, in Hendon.

Each was charged with one count of burglary, one count of attempted wounding with intent to do GBH, one count of affray and one count of theft of a vehicle.

They were remanded in custody and the case was sent to Wood Green Crown Court.

The three men are expected to appear before the court on May 27.
