Woman Arrested For Calling Emergency Services Twice In Four Hours Asking For Beer

A 57-year-old woman has been arrested after calling the emergency services, twice in the space of four hours, because she wanted beer.

Jennifer Sue Roberts was taken into custody after repeatedly calling to report a medical emergency.

When paramedics first came to her aid, they quickly discovered she was intoxicated and, according to Roberts herself, thirsty and in need of more beer.

The incident occurred on Friday May 4th, with Roberts contacting the authorities at some point around noon and then again later that day at 4pm.

She was eventually arrested after making the second false claim and charged with misusing the emergency services system.

Roberts, who also goes by the name Jennifer Sue Sunday, has earned a reputation for making these kinds of calls in the past.

According to a report from WFLA-TV, she has made a total of 28 false calls to the emergency services since February 2018

She was also previously arrested for similar offences in August 2014 and June 2016.

Roberts was released on Saturday May 5th.
