Irish boxer Jono Carroll reveals impressive transformation in condition

ALTHOUGH his next opponent is yet to be confirmed, Irish boxer Jono Carroll is wasting no time in getting himself back into shape.

The Dubliner has been earmarked for a slot on the undercard of Liverpudlian Stephen Smith’s world title shot against Jose Pedraza in Connecticut, USA, on April 16.

But, as yet, that potential outing is still up in the air, though the lightweight has gone above and beyond to make sure he’s fighting fit should he get a call from promotor Eddie Hearn.

Having last fought on the undercard of Tyson Fury’s dethroning of former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko last November, Carroll has revealed these remarkable bodily changes in the intervening months.

The unbeaten 23-year-old, who has been in demand since winning the lightweight version of Prizefighter, looks raring to go as he aims to build on his professional record of 9-0-0 (1 KO).
