VIDEO: What do you think of Sky's first GAA ad?

SKY Sports have released their first GAA television ad only days after announcing its line-up for this season’s football and hurling championship coverage.

Clare half-forward and current Young Hurler and Hurler of the Year Tony Kelly and Footballer of The Year Michael Darragh MacAuley star in the 40 second ad in the glorious surroundings of Croke Park.

Set to the soundtrack of Little Matador’s Boom Boom, the teaser uses impressive visual effects to showcase a preview of the upcoming campaign.

On Monday, the broadcaster announced its on-screen line-up, with Kildare presenter Rachel Wyse and former Irish rugby international Brian Carney would front their coverage over the summer.

Clare legend Jamesie O’Connor and Nicky English were confirmed to provide the hurling insight, whilst Peter Canavan and Paul Earley will share their thoughts on the football games.

Sky’s first live match will be the clash of Kilkenny and Offaly in the All-Ireland Leinster Hurling Championship on June 7 in Nowlan Park.
