‘Winning would change our lives forever’ –  Kayley Woollacott and her team talk you through their Cheltenham 2019 preparations with Lalor

Kayley Woollacott became a National Hunt trainer in January 2018 following the death of her husband Richard.

After guiding their stable star Lalor to a debut win over fences last November, Kayley and her team are heading to the 2019 Cheltenham Festival with high hopes.

The seven year-old will start as one of the favourites for the Grade 1 Arkle Challenge Trophy next Tuesday.

Kayley's daughter Bella has become very well known to racing fans on social media, thanks to regular videos showing her fussing over Lalor and the horse responding with genuine affection.

Here we go behind the scenes to see Kayley and all the team preparing for the big event.
