First Madonna, then The Edge - falling off stage is all the rage

U2 GUITARIST The Edge lived up to his nickname on the first date of the band's new Innocence + Experience tour in Vancouver.

During the performance of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Dave Evans (best known as The Edge) was filmed by a fan in the audience casually strolling down the stage and then off it, in what looks like a painful fall.

Security at the Rogers Arena came to The Edge's aid and later he took to Instagram to assure fans that he was ok, although the picture shows a bruised and swollen arm with the caption "Didn't see the edge, I'm ok!"

At the Brits awards in February,  Madonna took an equally dangerous looking stumble when she tripped  over a cape and came crashing down before being helped back to her feet by dancers and making an impressive recovery.
