Appeal to find Irish woman who intervened in incident with young girl

DETECTIVES from the Metropolitan Police have appealed to find an Irish woman who intervened in an incident with a young girl in London.

The incident happened in Harrow between 1980 and 1981.

The woman, who is possibly now deceased, lived in Harrow and had a Jack Russell she would walk in an alleyway between 678 and 680 Field End Road, leading to Palace Road.

The Irish woman came across an incident in the alleyway involving a young girl and intervened.

It is believed it may have been summer time as the lady was not wearing a coat, just a cardigan.

Detectives would like to trace the woman.
