BREAKING: Manhunt underway after two found dead in Cork, public warned not to approach red van

A MANHUNT is underway after two people were found dead in a house in County Cork in the early hours of this morning.

An Garda Síochána have confirmed a "very serious incident" took place at a house in Mitchelstown, County Cork last night, and the bodies of two men have been discovered at the property.

A manhunt is now underway as officers attempt to trace a red Toyota Corolla van, license number 03-WW-1556.

The public have been warned to remain vigilant and not to approach the vehicle if spotted, instead anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the van should immediately call 999.

The bdoies of two men have been found in a property in Mithelstown, County Cork this morning, and Gardaí are on the trail of the occupants of a red van in connection with the incident. The public have encouraged not to approach the van if seen and instead to ring 999 immediately.

In an urgent statement this morning, a Garda spokesperson said:

"Gardaí in Cork are urgently looking to trace the whereabouts of a red Toyota Corolla Van, registration 03-WW-1556.

"Members of the public with information are asked to call 999 immediately. Do not approach this vehicle.

"An Garda Siochana has no further comment at this time."
