Irish Airport needs your help to reunite lost teddy bear with its owner

CORK Airport is asking the public to help reunite an adorable teddy bear with its best friend.

The pink teddy was found lost and alone in an airport lounge before kind-hearted staff members decided to make it their mission to reunite him with his forebears.

There's no word yet on the mental state of the teddy, but we’re sure the experience has been unbearable for him.

Posting on Facebook, staff wrote: "This pink Teddy should have been heading off on a flight earlier today but got separated from his travelling companions.

"If you are missing Teddy please contact us.

"Teddy has had his dinner and tea and is relaxing in our lounge at present."

After a 24-hour stay in the airport, with no word from its owner, the bear’s new friends posted another photo in hope that someone, somewhere might recognise him.

On day three of the little fella’s adventure, staff posted a picture of the teddy taking his mind off the situation by “playing the blues” for passers-by on the airport’s piano.

He presumably sang in a rich 'bear-itone'.

The teddy has clearly been finding his bearings but would like nothing more than to be reunited with his best friend.

Can you help?

Cork Airport are asking anyone who owns the bear, or might know who does, to get in contact on their Facebook page or by clicking here.
