Irish dad's mission to bring daughter's beloved teddy Bashful home

AN Irish dad in London is on a mission to find his daughter’s lost teddy.

Paul Gavin has taken to social media in a desperate search for his baby daughter’s stuffed reindeer, named Bashful.

Bashful has been missing for four days now. Bashful has been missing for four days now.

Bashful went missing last Sunday between Charlton and Waterloo when Paul’s young daughter dropped him while they were out for a walk.

Hope is fading fast as the weekend approaches again, but Paul is determined to bring Bashful home before it is too late.

“Can people walking in SE L'dn  keep an eye out for Bashful-lost on Sunday and all alone. #bringbashfulhome,” Paul tweeted.

“Thank you to everyone who has tweeted to #bringbashfulhome - its been over 72 hours and we are losing hope,” he said yesterday.

Despite being in Ireland for work this week, PhD candidate Paul is still sharing Bashful’s picture from over the Irish Sea in the hope that someone in London will come across Bashful and he will be safely returned to his owner.
