Irishman's controversial open letter to ISIS is an internet sensation

AN IRISHMAN’S controversial open letter to ISIS has become an internet sensation.

Comedian Finchie Cova posted the letter on his Facebook page last Friday, in response to an alleged ISIS video that pinpointed Ireland as one the terrorists’ targets, and within days it has received around 24,000 shares.

He begins the 800-word letter with “what’s the craic lads”, before cheekily writing “in the name of Alan, (or whatever he’s called), in reference to Allah and goes on to mistake Shariah Law for Sharon.

The letter follows the devastating terrorist attacks in Paris three weeks ago that claimed 130 lives and left many injured.

Finchie rounds off the letter by warning: "If a single pub is damaged during your short stay here, we will consider this an act of war."
