A live orchestral concert of David Attenborough's 'Our Planet' is coming to Dublin

THIS LOOKS absolutely spectacular.

If you've ever watched the aesthetically stunning Our Planet series, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, at some stage you have probably thought about how amazing the documentary would be if it were shown on a big screen and set to a live orchestra.

And even if you haven't had that thought previously, right now you're realising just what a magnificent idea that actually is.

Well, you're in luck-- because the 'Our Planet' series is indeed being transformed into a live orchestral concert, and the best news is, it's coming to Ireland.

The nature documentary, which has a particular focus on humans and the impact our throwaway culture has on the rest of the creatures we share the planet with, will be condensed into a breathtaking two-hour long show played over three massive screens, with a 66-piece orchestra and vocals provided by Irish singer Lisa Hannigan-- and, of course, narrated by Sir David Attenborough himself.

The Irish premiere of the enthralling reimagining of the EMMY award-winning documentary will take place in Dublin's 3 Arena on October 16th, 2020.

While tickets are not available to buy until this Friday, November 29th at 9am, members of 3Plus will be able to get their hands on presale tickets on Wednesday.

Tickets aren't going cheap though, with prices from €67, but all net profits are going to the World Wildlife Fund's (WWF) aptly named education campaign 'Our Planet', which aims to inspire the next generation to continue to protect the planet-- so really, you've no excuse.
