Republican Senator backs Donald Trump to run again in 2024

REPUBLICAN SENATOR Lindsey Graham says he wants Donald Trump to run for President again in 2024, should he concede defeat in this year's election.

Senator Graham insists that the Republicans cannot "let this movement die" and insists that should Trump "fall short" in the 2020 election, he would support him for candidacy in four year's time.

"I would encourage President Trump if, after all this, he does fall short - we just can't quite get there to not let this movement die - to consider running again, to create an organisation, platforms over the next four years," he said speaking on Fox News Radio.

"To keep this movement alive, growing the Republican representation in minority communities."

When asked if he meant that Trump should run for President again, Senator Graham replied: "I would encourage him to think about doing it. I really would."

Last week, Trump's former communications director Bryan Lanza claimed the President already had plans to run again in 2024 should he lose.

The 2020 election was universally called in favour of Joe Biden on Saturday, but Trump means to challenge the result in the Supreme Court, citing election fraud.

On Monday, Trump claimed via Twitter that he had evidence of an "absolutely shocking amount" of fake votes, but is yet to show proof of any actual foul-play.
