Morena Hartnett, 32, shared her homecoming video from last Christmas with The Irish Post today ahead of making her planned trip home again this year.
Last Christmas Morena, who had been living in Canada for two years, decided to surprise her mother Helen with a surprise visit over the festive season.
But this was far from the typical homecoming video - because Helen thought her children had gifted her a perfectly wrapped coffin.
As Helen walks around the full Christmas table, she laughs as to what it could be, but is completely unaware her daughter is lying in wait inside the box to surprise her.
"It was funny as my two sisters and one of my brothers knew she had bought a new fridge and kept the box," Morena told The Irish Post. "I was lying in the box for two hours before she opened it!"
