THE FALL actor Colin Morgan is set to star in new sci-fi series Humans.
The Armagh native will play Leo, a young man on the run, in the drama set in a world where the new must-have gadget is a 'Synth' - a robot that can be used as a domestic servant.
Morgan will star alongside Katherine Parkinson (The It Crowd) and Tom Goodman-Hill (Mr Selfridge) in the co-production between UK Channel 4 and US cable network AMC.
Parkinson and Goodman-Hill have been cast as a couple who purchase a Synth but soon regret their decision.
The cast also includes: Neil Maskell (Utopia), Will Tudor (Game Of Thrones), Emily Berrington (24: Live Another Day) and Rebecca Front (The Thick of It).
Humans - an adaptation of the Swedish TV series Real Humans - will begin filming later this year and is due to be aired in 2015.
